Cortés Dance is a Melbourne home for authentic Salsa, Bachata and Latin dance—where quality teaching, real progression and genuine community belong together.
Our Story
From Puerto Cabello to Melbourne.
Cortés Dance was created by Pedro González and Tiffany De Caires, two Venezuelan dancers whose story began in Puerto Cabello through dance.
Their shared journey grew from Pedro's original school, Soul and Dance, into years of teaching, performing and competing. In Melbourne, that experience became Cortés Dance: a school built to share authentic Latin culture while helping every student feel capable, connected and inspired.
Today, Cortés is more than a place to take classes. It is a community where beginners are welcomed, experienced dancers are challenged and people build friendships through dance.
